Reading Augustine is a series of books written by a diverse group of international scholars and published by Bloomsbury. Each book sets out to read St. Augustine of Hippo as a spiritual and intellectual icon of the Western tradition, and to look through him to some of the pressing questions of our time. Augustine is the muse and conversation starter, and the readers of these books could be anyone, anywhere.
The series has just published its first 4 books, by Todd Breyfogle, Joseph Clair, Ian Clausen and John Rist. Go and check them out!
